 Step is online banking made for teens and adults. Yes, teens. I know there’s quite a few online banks for teens now, but do they help their credit? Step does, it helps build your teens credit. Nothing like a head start! The app will be on both the teens phone and the adults phone. Or just the adults if it’s just you signing up. You get your own personalized card, and step has no fees! It’s completely free, and FDIC insured. You can easily send and receive money to and from other step users. Add money to your account by linking other bank accounts. Obviously if your teen has step and needs money, you’ll be the one adding the money. As soon as you’ve signed up, you can use your digital card via Apple Pay or google pay. It gets any better. Just like almost everything else I blog about, Step has a referral program!! When you sign up you get $3 immediately into your account. When someone signs up using your link, you get $3. But, if you’re a teen your lucky. You can get $6 per referral after completing 3 simple steps. But this is they only paid survey app I’ve ever tried, liked, and continue to use. The minimum cash out is 500 points, equivalent to $5. What’s so great about this app you may be wondering? Well for one, if you’ve ever tried surveys then you know a lot of times you get “disqualified” soon after starting which means no pay. But with survey junkie even if you get disqualified you still get points. It’s only a few but better than none. It’s a savings app, but you can withdraw your money whenever you’d like. It’s very affordable, the cheapest subscription is $1 a month, the second is $3 a month and the third is $5 a month. The lite subscription costing only $1, is pretty basic. You can make reoccurring deposits, allow round-ups with your change, and the best part, acorns puts your money into investments for you.
